What some dude said about Steve's Trem playin' (commented on the YOutube video of Steve at the Gnarly Cup). He said: "il doit y avoir beaucoup de travail derrière tout ça. "
Can anybody translate that without using a translator? I guessed the language, then used a translator, but I know of some folks on here who speak this language, I think Jim speaks it, for one.

I agree with Smojoe. It is French. My rough translation: "He has a lot of work behind all that." (really) It doesn't translate into "stinking like someone's derriere"!

What he probably said was: " He's got a lot of work to do" or "He needs to put that behind him and get to work"...lol Hey Dave, let me double check on the Deerwalk gig...I may have had my dates/gigs mixed up, that one may be next Saturday. I'll call you tomorrow evening and let you know. Also we're playing along with a couple rock bands at a private party north of Marietta off Rt 26 on July 3rd if you're interested.

Dave I just checked on the Deerwalk gig...it's next Saturday the 12th, we're up at 3:00. We'll be right on Rt. 31 by the Deerwalk fire station. The other one at Deerwalk is Roy Clark Jr.'s annual show, it's in August.

That's Deerwalk's version of the Grand Ol' Opry! Really looking forward to it. Had a great time playing chord with you guys at the cannon shooting. Am trying to get pictures from the park, they havne't sent them yet. I love hanging out with Roy Clark Jr., he's such a great musician with a wonderful love for the old-time sounds. That talent apple didn't fall far from the tree. Want me to bring that old double-sided Mountain Harp Tremolo again?

No kidding, Steve, to me the statement translated as admiration for the work that you had into playing the tremolo.

The closest I can get is: 'there is much work behind all that'...et oui, c'est francais Elizabeth (Scotty)
