Congratulations Steve!

I'm afraid of the "high end", but you tackled it in both those songs!

Don

BTW, you'd make a good MC!

Thanks Don!  Yep...I try to play most tunes on both the "high" and "low" ends if I can.  It adds variety, and since I usually play gigs in a duet format with my wife, I do my best to try to keep the music as entertaining and non-repetitive as possible.

Just ask Dave...he sat in with us last Saturday.  He played chord harp on everything from Old Time to Western Swing to Classic Country to Bluegrass and never missed a beat - literally!   Cool

Steve

Steve is an amazing musician. I remember when I first played with him, we were doing a bunch of instrumentals and stuff and we asked him to sing. He said "I don't sing."
Then we needed to him to belt one out at the Texas Roadhouse gig and he sang it. Very well. I said "Steve, I thought you said you didn't sing?""
Steve says "I said I didn't. Didn't say I couldn't."
Besides that, he's a heck of a mandolin and fiddle player and tremolo player. He probably plays other instruments I haven't seen yet. I've been showing steve some stuff, like flipping a double side over to get missing notes. Won't be long before he's doing it, I'm sure.

Can't wait to play again with you guys.
